I can’t imgine where she gets this from…but BB is a chatter box. She loves to talk and coo and make all sorts of noises. She has been cooing for a while but on March 23, she started to say dada. It started as a string of dadadadadadada while we were at the Library reading books. I told her to save it for her dad and tell him what was on her mind. That night she let him have it. We were putting together her crib and she was giving him a piece of her mind. It is so cute how much they love each other. She would say dadadadadadada and he would usually respond with what bean or something sweet like she was really telling him things.

We had a lot of fun and continued to work on her dadadadada’s. On March 25th she said dada not a string or anything. Thankfully D was there and of course we were both a bit suprised. It is exciting to see her starting to communicate with us more. Now she is talking up a storm. She is learning new words or at least new sounds and she will tell me stories all day long. On Easter on our way home from our hike there was a moment where she said something and both D and I looked at eachother in disbelief because it wasn’t her usualy chatter it sounded like she was really saying something. We have both had a lot of fun and her and D will chat on the couch while I finish up dinner or while we are driving places. Some of my favorite times are just listening to the chat. She will start with dadadadada to get his attention and usually he will respond Norarararara. Then they chat it up.

She is growing so dang fast and I just wish it would slow down for just a few more months. I know I will never stop wishing that so instead of getting caught up in her growing I am sure to celebrate it with her every step of the way!
