This last week has been a whirlwind! BB is a trooper and we learned just how lucky we are to have her. We had our first visitors to Juneau and as we could expect they were excited to see the sites and explore, and give her snuggles and play with her. With exploring came short naps and a disrupted schedule, however, you could have never guessed that we didn’t do that everyday with how well she did. Our sweet baby is so lucky to have such great grandparents each loving her in their unique ways. Also… this week she saw her first bear, actually she saw two different bears (or 1 bear twice) while out and about. What an exciting life she leads.

This week….

She likes:

• Her Grandma and Nana visting
• Adventures
• Playing with her Grandma and Nana and their undivided attention
• The change of pace from our everyday routine
• Exploring Juneau and getting to spend a lot of time hiking and seeing the sites
• Shopping
• Cuddles
• Kicking her legs
• Talking
• Growling
• Being outside in the sunshine
• Getting to skip naps and stay up late (this girl is a party animal)
• Her stroller and baby carriers
• Chewing on everything especially her fingers
• The waterfalls, she would fuss if D didn’t stop so she could watch them

She was not so fond of:

• Her Grandma and Nana leaving
• Us taking away a toy or piece of paper or something she was not supposed to have
• Facing me on our hikes she wanted to face out to see the world
• Sitting in her car seat for too long
• Anything when she was really tired
• Me trying to hold or cuddle her at all
• Just having to watch us eat dinner and not eating some herself
• Being covered so the rain doesn’t get her super wet

Favorite Toy:

• Anything her Grandma or Nana was playing with with her. Additionally, her Grandma and Nana’s jewelry.
