The weeks keep getting faster and faster… BB is so much fun and we are really enjoying our time with her! This week has been eventful so there is a chance I am forgetting stuff… Hang with me I will get it together…eventually?

This week our monster likes…

• To explore our faces
• Straws, she has about 3 straws we have given her and they are some of the first toys she goes for
• Time with her daddy, he is the obvious favorite at this point
• Cruise ship visitors
• Attention
• Army crawling everywhere
• Smooshy face smiles, I haven’t been able to get a good picture of it, it is my mission I always have a camera ready for it but she’s too quick for me. She gets the biggest smile on her face and scrunches her nose, its quite possibly the cutest
• Water, this kid is a total water baby
• Friends, she is really into other babies and enjoys spending time with them
• Music
• Playing music
• Being out and about
• Her stroller
• Waving
• Clapping
• R, she is really into R these days
• Her baby monitor, she loves to look into it and smile, its like its another person she is really interested in her baby monitor camera
• Her Rubber Duck

She is not so fond of….

• Sleep, we think its a growth spurt/teething/sleep regression (Happens when they are trying to figure out a new big thing [i.e. crawling] and their minds don’t slow down enough)
• Having toys taken away
• Missing nap times
• Not being able to crawl
• Being held for any extended period of time
• Cuddles, I get lucky every now and again
• Peas

We had a special visit from my parents, my grandmother, my brother, and my Aunt and Uncle. It was a fun and crazy day and it was so sweet to see BB play with my grandma and my dad. Also my Aunt and Uncle were smitten. I think that we ruined the rest of their cruise because we made sure to make their first stop so awesome!! It was good to see everyone again. It’s those days and those goodbye’s when I really miss home. Mommy guilt … a topic I will cover another time, was in full swing knowing how hard it is for all of them especially my family and my grandma to not have us close by. I am looking forward to a little down time before we have more visitors. Give BB a chance to get back into a routine!

Tonight, I miss home just a little bit. But I know I can get extra cuddles from my family and it will help fill my heart again.
