We have had a busy last couple weeks … all of that and BB keeps growing at rapid speeds.

This week she really likes …

• Opening and shutting cabinets, doors, the fridge
• Crawling (army crawling still)
• Waving
• Signing (She started to sign her first sign back to us. We started with just milk and now when she’s hungry or just wants to nurse she will give me the sign. It is so cool being able to actually know what she needs!)
• Dance to music, she bobs her head and kicks her legs
• Eating real food. We are sort of haphazardly starting to give her more and more real food… So far this week she tried a potato wedge (we were out and about and she REALLY wanted food), she had a little bit of chicken (again out and about), we ate scrambled eggs together, she has had yams, and a baby smoothie which was peas, avocado, greek yogurt and butternut squash. We are waiting for her to refuse something but so far she has been pretty open to everything, just some things need an extra try sometimes.
• Exploring all the nooks and crannys that she has had to admire from a far before she was mobile
• Crawling off things (the bed, the couch, anything she can. Hopefully she out grows this fearlessness soon!)
• She really enjoys books especially ones that rhyme or have a cadence.
• She likes singing songs and dancing or signing along.
• She loves playing with D. He is her favorite and she is his, I totally support it, for now!
• She loves baths!

She is not a fan of….

• Her afternoon nap sometimes
• Not getting to eat when we eat.
• She has been off and on clingy so she doesn’t really like when we leave her in a room by herself
• She’s not a fan when her friends try to climb on her or hold her hands of feet. She has a pretty big personal bubble!

Favorite toy…

• She has a few toys that play music and lately those have been favorites even if she just pushes the button to get it started and then goes and plays with something else. Also she really enjoyed playing with an empty box this week!
