On Tuesday BB turned 9 months. 9 months?! Did you hear that!?

We were visiting with her Nana and Tata and it was so exciting to have her wow them with all her new tricks!

This month BB …

• Tried a lot of new foods
• On her 9 month birthday she pulled herself up to standing
• She went whale watching
• She got to visit with her Nana and Tata
• She has learned how to empty cabinets
• She is mastering drinking out of a sippy cup
• She loves swimming
• She loves to see and explore new things
• She loves to be outside and play in the rain (which is inevitable given that you are usually getting rained on if you’re outside)
• She has made new friends and I can really see how much she loves being around new people and kids.
• She is learning about new textures and foods and hasn’t yet found anything she doesn’t really want.
• She loves music and she LOVES to dance to music
• Elmo and sesame street video’s calm her down and she really likes to dance and interact with them
• She started to point at things, she likes to point at something and have you tell her what it is
• She is so very curious and loves learning new things
• We have decided that she is quick. We show her things and the next day she gets it.
• She sort of blows us kisses 🙂 and gives high fives

Her stats:

• 27 inches long
• 16 lbs 14 oz
• Wears:
  • Shirts/Onsies – still fits in some 0-3 but also fits in onsies up to 12 months (they are just a little big)
  • Pants – 9 months are almost perfect if not a little short, 12 month are just a tad long but work because her pant legs always seem to ride up
  • PJ’s – She fits in 9 months but the 12 months were not that big on her… (If you want a shock go look at how big 12 month footie PJ’s look and cry inside with me when you realize she is growing up so fast!!!!
• Talks a lot
• Crawls (army style still mostly)
• Sits up on her own
• Goes from laying/crawling to sitting on her own
• Pulls herself up to standing
• Laughs without needing to be tickled
• NO TEETH! (She needs to get on it she only has 6 more months to get one or else the Dr’s worry)

Our baby girl is amazing (mom googles, I know). She brings so much light and joy to our lives and she is just so much fun to have. I can’t believe that she is 9 months, on the same hand I can’t imagine life without her. We have a lot going on this next month and with a little (soon to be walking) sassy trouble maker on our hands I have a feeling it’s going to go FAST!
