This week has been a whirlwind! I know I say that just about every week… It seems as though in the same way that my love for BB and D grows each day and I am still surprised by it, the weeks get busier each week and I am still surprised every time. There is a lot going on in BB’s world, she is constantly exploring and learning about her environment.

She likes:
Eating
Drinking and playing in water
Walking around everywhere on or with everything
Cuddles (occasionally)
Playing with R
Puddles
Fish
Being chased around the house
Skyping her grandparents
Being in the carrier (thankfully she likes this again)
Sharing
Talking (lately she has had A LOT to say)
Playing outside
Going for walks
She is not so fond of:
Sleep (we’re working on it)
Having to go inside and not play

Still no teeth but she will eat anything we give her. She loves eating fish and usually insists on eating off our plates, she knows where the good stuff is. I cannot express how grateful we are that BB is such a good baby. She is great when we are on the go and she does equally well being stuck inside. Although I have noticed that now that she can walk (assisted) she is getting a little more prone to cabin fever and she wants to go explore the outside world. This makes me so excited because I hope that she learns (especially in Juneau) to love the outdoors and to really appreciate nature. Hopefully things will slow down and we will be able to play a little more soon. Everytime you walk by a puddle or are using water play in it a little and see why BB is so drawn to splash and play! You wont regret it!!

The best way to know if dad steals your fries at McDonalds… put veggie sticks in the box. I had put a couple veggie straws in the fries container, because BB only likes food if it’s off one of our plates so that way I could make her think she was getting the good stuff. Later on D goes to help me.finidh my fries and gets a veggie straw and was very suprised and spit it out 🙂 I guess sneaking in his veggies is not his thing!
