BB is walking … it is very wobbly and very random but when she goes we’ve gotten about 10 steps! I know we have our parent goggles on and I am just fine with that! It is a very exciting yet extreemely bittersweet time. I am heartbroken that she is growing up, yet I am so proud of her and so excited for this next season in our life. I cannot emphasize how excited and proud I am of her. September 2nd was her first steps. She took a single step while I was working in the kitchen, then a little later she took two steps. I kept this a secret hoping she would show D that same day so that we could celebrate. However, she didn’t think it was that cool and thus didn’t show D. I eventually told him what had happened and we were determined to show him the next day. That morning she was not having it she just wanted to play. We let her play and went on with the day. As the day went along she took more and more steps with the record high of 7 steps. Once again D was not there to see and I was starting to worry that we would never get to show him. I tried and failed at getting it on tape so we just had to hope for the best. When he got home we got a good run and we all celebrated! BB not having any idea what we were so excited about. We tried and tried again to get it on tape and finally we did. For your viewing pleasure ….
We are so happy and excited for what is next in BB’s life. Walking is going to open the door for her to do all the exploring I know she is so desperately longing to do.
