August 9, 2015 was BB’s Baptism day. It was a beautiful morning and BB was even in a great mood. We bathed her and got her ready for the day after a whirlwind of a couple days. When we got to the church we met with her Godparents and we found out everything we should be doing.

 You should understand that BB is quite the talker. She usually talks through mass and so it was going to be interesting with the attention being on us and her being such a ham!

Let’s just say BB stole the show. She waved as we processed in and loved everyone looking at her. She did get a little sick of everyone wanting to touch her by the time we got to the front. When it came time for her to be baptized she was excited and wanted to play in the water. As with all baptisms they held her up for the congregation to see and being the goofball she is she clapped along with everyone else. She also was having fun waving as we would walk down the isle. She as usual talked the whole mass and wanted to play and walk/crawl around.

 It was really special to have her Tata baptize her as he also was the one who married D and I. Additionally I was baptized by my grandfather all those years ago so it was special for me and my mom and grandma to have that special tie to my grandpa and for BB to have that really special tie to her Tata and great grandpa in a way.

 After the mass it was nice to see a lot of old friends and family friends. They all thought BB was just the cutest thing and tried talking us into moving back. It didn’t work as they were hoping.

We went to the park and had a little brunch with our families to celebrate BB.

 We are so happy we were able to do this and have all our families present. She is such a special baby and holds such a dear and special place in our hearts. She is going to be an amazing little girl and I can’t wait to watch her grow up. If only she would slow down a lot a bit!!
