This week was full of some creative adventures. We were recovering from HFMD and were taking it easier and trying to stay away from places with a lot of little kids so that we didn’t share.  We also enjoyed the extra time with D over the Holiday weekend. BB has been super funny about D and has been super attached to me, however, she insists that he puts her to bed every night (requests it even) but also insists that he doesn’t put her in any shopping carts. She loves to wave goodbye to him as he leaves for work everyday and she is always so excited when she seems him pull in at the end of the day. She did her first official coloring session, she had her first french fry and chicken nugget, and she proudly showed off her awesome coloring skills. She is such a happy and joyful kiddo, I love her spirit!

BB is such a curious kid. We spend a lot of time looking for new things to do with her when the weather isn’t awesome. One activity we go to often (or at least I do) is the “Juneau Zoo”. The “Zoo” is actually just PetCo but BB loves it! She can see fish, turtles, reptiles, small mammals, insects, birds, ferrets, and all sorts of other random animals. Additionally, we opened the door to her love of coloring. She loves to just carry her crayons around and asks to color often. During church on Sunday she colored on the pew in blue crayon, and she likes to color on the windows and has colored on the computer screen. I think BB is starting to miss our families. We got to Skype her Nana twice this weekend, we skyped her great grandparents, and we skyped my family. Monday night she kept asking us to skype and would grab the computer and try and skype. Therefore, we surprised her grandma and grandpa with an unplanned skype. I think she just enjoys getting to sit and play on top of the table but I also know that the grandparents don’t mind the extra BB time!
