Happy Easter!!

20160327-IMG_6542 — Dom isn’t a fan of this picture however, BB was not having it and this was the best one I was able to get… I love it! His picture taking skills have been a little off! It is also really clear we need some sun!!

This Easter we had a baby fighting a cold and a really rainy day. I still wanted to try and get some Easter pictures but it felt like I was fighting the elements! It was rainy and where we ended up there was another group that was starting to set up an easter egg hunt. Let me tell you there are a few things that attract BB, Easter eggs and balloons are some of those things. We ended up feeling like we were doing more harm than good and BB really needed a nap. I got a few of her in her nice clothes and maybe we will make it out again before it gets dark or is bed time! Or maybe I will just dress her up again and take her pictures when its sunny out! Every girl likes an excuse to dress up right?

Unlike our adventure last year, and it feeling so weird without family, this year felt like we were really making it our own. Plus we already had skype dates with our families for this evening and so that helped! (And we get to see them in a couple weeks!)

We had a delicious breakfast and BB got to try bacon for the first time. I think she liked the taste but struggled to eat it with her limited teeth! We dyed eggs and BB LOVED it! I was impressed how little of a mess we made with that project. We spent a lot of really good time playing and goofing around as a family. My heart is so full after a weekend like this!
