Whole 30

Guess what?! D and I are doing the Whole30. If you don’t know what that is check this out… Basically you are 100% committed to not consuming grains (including gluten), dairy, alcohol,  sugar (not even honey or other natural sugars), and legumes. This is a huge change for us, D especially. About two months ago I decided to give up gluten, dairy, and drastically reduce my sugar intake (in hopes to one day give it up as well) for health reasons. That meant for me this change wasn’t as big, but would still be tough. I will try to keep things updated on our progress as I am sure some of you are curious how it goes.

If you’re not, don’t read them! Just something fun to follow along with us on. Wish us luck! We start this Wednesday…

It’s more that in general typically those food all cause some sort of negative side effect and so we are detoxing our body from them all and will slowly reintroduce them to see how they effect us and if it’s worth eating them to us. While it is a drastic Change we haven’t noticed it being that much different than how we normally ate. It’s just hard having to be conscious of it all the time. You’d be surprised what all has sugar… Things like bacon, taco seasoning, and tomato sauce. Walking 10,000 steps is impressive, we’ve been trying to workout in the evenings together to stay physically heathy too!
