Viewing things from a different lens

Finding Balance

D has been challenging me too push myself outside of my comfort zone with photography. While I love taking pictures of BB it’s always good to see if I can find other perspectives and I like to practice teaching myself to see things. These tiny white flowers intrigued me last year, I thought hmm that is what a dandy lion looks like wet… because lets be honest in AZ there isn’t enough rain for one to know.

I now know that these are cloves, there are fields of it everywhere here and its really pretty when you look at it up close. I could have taken hundreds of pictures of just the cloves. These orange flowers were really interesting too, and the color was beautiful! My mom would be so proud that I was stopping to look at the flowers! I hope to get some photos soon of some of the other flowers around here.

For mothers day we went out to the Shrine and I was able to capture these photos as well. I love flowers and I feel like they have so many interesting details that depending on how you look you might miss them!

I had an ah ha moment not long ago when I was thinking about how I missed all this last year and it makes such a difference now that BB is walking, we are always outside and exploring and it has opened my eyes to a whole new world around me!
