I believe now is as good a time to tell you as any. Especially since we’ve told our immediate families now and things are in full swing.

D got a new job! He is now working as the Director of Communications at the Diocese of Juneau! We are so excited for him to start this new journey and from the first week it seems as though he is going to really enjoy it. He left KTOO on good terms and is still helping them out part time. I am so proud of him for pursuing this change and this challenge. I tend to shy away from change and it is so inspiring and motivating to be a part of such a positive change and to witness it done so gracefully and professionally!

BB and I are so proud of D and we hope that he will find much joy and will be challenged in this new job! Selfishly I am so excited for this new job because it is aligned with a lot of things I have been exploring for a while and while I have very little say and he is the boss by all means it is fun to be able to collaborate and finally have an idea about what he’s talking about. Radio was not my cup of tea and he couldn’t “talk shop” with me but this new job, I may even get to show him a thing or two!

We love him so much and as always are so very grateful he works so hard to support us! He is the most hard working man and he pours 100% into everything he does. It is interesting to have watched him leave jobs since we’ve been together and every single time I wonder how the company is going to get on without him. He does everything and anything that is needed for everyone. I could blab all day about this guy but as he literally just told me y’all don’t want to read about him, it’s all about BB!
