Adventures of BB 9.27.16

Lately the weather has been incredible! It feels like we are getting a bonus summer!! So naturally we have been taking full advantage of it! We ate our snack out on our front step this day!

Look at that sunshine!! This was a fun park “date” with a friend BB hadn’t seen in almost a month! It was so fun to see how much they both grew up but also how they remembered each other and didn’t even miss a beat.

While we have had a lot of sunshine lately this day happened to be pretty drizzly! That didn’t stop us! We went exploring in the woods!

We have been loving all the fall leaves! I especially love the changing colors. I feel like last year either this didn’t happen, or I totally missed it all. I love how beautiful it is here in fall!

This is called a “tigger jump” according to BB. She loves to tigger jump everywhere we go.

Sometimes she can be playing so quietly, most times it’s not so much!

I’m sorry BB, you got this trait from me. The inability to hide your emotions through facial expression. It is going to be so fun watching this develop as you grow up!

Not that there is ever a lack of beauty but rainbows sure do make the rainy days extra pretty. Add in some fall leaves and I don’t really know what more you could ask for!

Throwing fall leaves into the river, our new favorite pass time.

BB was so kind to this little guy! She would say hi and excuse me every time she walked past him. It is really fun to watch her explore this world!

We spent two hours out here in the sun throwing leaves and rocks off the bridge.

The more you gather the less you have to walk back and forth, efficient already.

Again her caterpillar friend.

This is the park D claims is BB’s favorite. It is lovingly named the “choo choo park” because there is a train in the little kid section.

We’ve been having fun doing her puzzles lately. I had to snap this because she used her magnets for the pieces she didn’t want to find!

Points for creativity!

Now that the tourists are gone we can walk to the glacier again. Thank heavens! This walk started as a stroller run with a friend of mine and by the time we made it to the glacier the kiddos needed out. We splashed in every single puddle there is over and over again. It was such a blast, until it started to pour rain on our run back! 2.5 unprepared for a downpour and pushing a screaming toddler in a stroller, not something that was on my bucket list!
