Guess what?…. We moved, Again!

 

Not far from where we are now, infact only about 10 minutes!

 

Ready for some stats?

Since D and I got engaged we have lived in a different place every year, thats 5 different houses in 4 years. BB has lived in 3 different houses, 2 states since she was born. Since we were engaged, we haven’t spent two consecutive Christmases in the same house. Hopefully that will change, but if not we are pretty dang good at moving!

I never envisioned I would move this much. In fact, until D and I were really serious (like his senior year in college) I never considered moving away from Flagstaff. As a child I never moved, not once. The biggest move I did was move my room when we remodeled. Same house my whole life until I was 20. Then D changed all that! I would say moving to Juneau is a big first step but now that I’ve made it and now that I know as long as I have my people I can be anywhere I am excited for the adventures. D and I are really efficient at moving now that we’ve done it a few times. We hardly packed anything until the day we moved… and we moved the majority of our stuff in about 5 hours. Additionally, we were pretty organized and partially unpacked that evening. I am always so impressed with what we can do as a team. I also think we make a pretty dang good team. I love that we have been adventuring and that we aren’t afraid to move and change things. I also hope that BB gets her sense of adventure from her dad, the willingness to always go, anywhere…

Also, just to brag about D, he is incredible! He gave up his birthday and moved us and did a lot of heavy lifting the whole day. Seriously, how did we get so lucky?
