Recently BB has been waking up really early on the weekends, and during the week we have to fight her to get out of bed… I don’t understand how she knows! Anyways, because she was up so early and by some grace we remembered the Knights of Columbus were hosting breakfast after 8am mass. While there was no way we were going to make it to 8am mass we made it to breakfast! BB enjoyed it and even got a surprise smiley face on her biscuit!After mass and naps BB and I went swimming. She is a dare devil and loves the water! She would just walk in until she was under and then look at me like what the heck when I pulled her back up. She was also not afraid to just jump right in! (even when I wasn’t always ready!) One of the first times we went swimming I put her in these cubbies to get dressed and ready and I did it again this time but she was not as quite and patient. She kept shutting the door and wiggling in there. She’s grown up so much!BB has taken control of her bedtime routine lately. We put her stool near her light switch so she can turn the lights out and then she turns on her sound machine and shuts her door. It is so crazy that we are at the stage where she is starting to do everything herself!BB has graduated to a big girl bed! It is so fun now to play with her and be able to sit in bed with her! She was tucking D in to bed this evening!BB loves going on adventures and this evening she insisted we went on a walking adventure! It was getting dark and she is quick! I love when BB and D cook together! D is so patient with her! D is so patient in general, how in the world we got so luck that he’s ours puzzles me! He helped BB make salsa and guacamole and it was so much fun to get to watch!BB is so funny, she asks that we cuddle her so she can stay warm when we drive! She’s so big, I can’t even remember when this car seat looked too big for her!BB and I went for a special date to get our car washed! It was a lot of fun and BB liked watching all the moving parts!D taught BB that my favorite game was “poke”(h)er and she would jab her tiny finger into my leg and he also taught her my favorite music was “poke”a again followed by jabs from tiny fingers. I hope this doesn’t last but she really enjoyed it!While I don’t always feel this way sometimes I really love that BB comes to be right next to us. I love that she has moments of cuddly toddler. Even if that means she steals my food!BB and I met our friends at the park this weekend, it was so much fun to watch her play at the park with a friend!
