BB has started learning about money recently and so since we haven’t been able to find a piggy bank in Juneau we made one for her to keep the money she earns from doing chores . It’s been an interesting adventure but it’s been fun to have her feel like a part of the family healing out and it’s been nice teaching her the value of money! D is the best fire builder, this was our first fire in our new house and it’s safe to say I am a fan! We watched a show as we enjoyed the fire and I definitely just sat and watched the fire! This year for Halloween we had incredible weather and BB was so excited to test how her trick or treating skills! We dressed up as Belle and Mrs. Pots and hits the streets! It was so much fun watching her get more and more brave the longer we went. By the end she would tell me I got this mom you stay here, and she went up to the houses by herself! I am so grateful we live in a place that it’s not unsafe for her to express and test out her freedom! BB got new bedding for her birthday and she has enjoyed making her bed every morning as one of her chores! She has also been extra particular about the order of her blankets too BB and I happened upon the kids building thing at homedepot this last weekend and it was so much fun to build a car with her. I let her do all the work and hammer everything in and she was so proud of her accomplishment! for D’s birthday he requested pizza and games which was so much fun and a little hilarious! He and BB had a blast playing games together and racing each other and then we ended it with a couple games of PAC man! I just want to say again on here in writing how thankful and blessed we are to have this goofy guy in our lives! We are so grateful to his parents for raising him the way they did, me especially because there are so many things that I know are from them that he does as a dad that makes our family so strong. He is so patient and joyful and has no problem being a big kid! Us girls can’t wait to see how this year turns out and we hope that we remember to celebrate this guy more than once a year because he truly is such a gift to us and we couldn’t do it without him!
