These two, how did I get so lucky with these two? They have really been enjoying making fires together and snuggling on the couch, or jumping and being crazy!! They really are two peas in a pod and they make me so very happy!

I have been on a streak of keeping our house or at least kitchen clean lately and it’s so nice to start the week with a clean kitchen, counters cleared and ready for food to be prepared the next day! Since we’ve been in this house I’ve made special Sunday dinner and it’s been so nice to have a warm delicious dish to eat and to spend time cooking!

I love that BBs closet is so fluffy and sparkly! It’s official I’ve given up on any sense of ability to dress or have any influence on how girly this kiddo is, and that’s okay! D surprised BB and I with a book of kids bible stories. It was so sweet and she has almost made it through the book already!! I’m pretty sure it’s her favorite thing to do reading these bible stories!

BB and D are like best friends and the best people ever! We got our first snow this weekend and BB has loved playing in the yard in it!! It was so entertaining watching these two play this particular evening. I am so thankful D gets an extra boost of energy in the evenings because by the time it’s play time I am completely exhausted! I might have fallen asleep on the couch while they ran around this particular evening, but I can rest knowing she is in the best hands possible! I’ve been really challenging myself to focus on the time we have together and not be thinking about what needs to be done or what needs to happen. What is most important are those two people you see here, and that should be my focus! D had to chase BB around this evening to put pjs on her and it was so entertaining!!
