Where has the time gone?!

Everyone says, “Cherish every moment because time flies”

My thoughts on that, it’s misleading. They should say hold on tight because if not your going to wake up one morning and your tiny little baby is going to be 6 stinking months old.

To think that our sweet little lady is halfway to a year old is CRAZY!!!

Because we are awesome, we celebrate half birthdays just the same as normal birthdays. Since this was our first one, we didn’t really know how to celebrate. I suggested maybe a candle in her avocado with dinner? I think we are going to have to really brain storm for the next one! We just made sure there was a lot of play time and cuddles for this one! Also, we got her some new toys. We bought them Sunday but why can’t they be for her half birthday?

Anyways, this month was a big month for BB.

This month she started eating solids, started talking, is trying to wave, is working on crawling, battled sleep training…again, moved to Alaska, lived in 3 different houses, has seen a waterfall, learned to Skype, and overall just been extra cute.

It has been a sort of tradition to take her monthly picture, although they are not all the same or in the same location or any of the things all those pinterest moms and moms that have it all together would do it is still a fun way to document this little ones growth and a fun thing to look back on. In honor of her 6 month half birthday we had a little photo shoot! She was much more interested in everything else but it was still fun!

She is such a fun and mellow baby, we really got lucky with such a sweet daughter. I can’t believe that she is growing so fast and I can’t stand that there is nothing I can do to stop it. It has been a whirlwind 6 months for this little girl but she has handled it with great spirits and I am so excited to see what is in store!
