The weeks get busier and busier the busier BB gets. The busyness is so fun and we are really enjoying this new pace our life has taken on. Does that mean that we have been losing track of our day, the house is forever messy, and we occasionally end up at McDonalds for dinner… unfortunatly yes. But we are all happy, healthy, and loving life.

This week BB likes …

• Crusing around on the furniture and her toys
• Standing up on everything
• Dancing
• Talking
• She started to sit and turn herself in circles and she thinks it is the funniest thing ever
• Eating, she doesn’t mess around when she wants to eat
• Crawling around and playing on the floor with us
• Chewing on everything
• Bath time and playing in the water
• Talking with her Aunt and Uncles and Grandparents
• Reading books
• Playing with other babies
• Looking out the windows when we go for car rides
• Pointing at EVERYTHING
• Her bird Mobile (Thanks Nana!)
• Oddly she seems to like to rough house. D and I will play with her and he will sort of rough house and we will lightly toss her on our bed and she thinks it is the funniest thing

She is not so fond of…

• Being held
• Not being able to romp around
• Having toys or anything taken away from her
• Fruit

Overall she is such a sweet and happy baby. She has really started to develop a little personality and she is so fun to play with. She thinks she is hilarious and it just makes everything so happy. She is always laughing and babbling. Baby proofing has happened and I feel confident that the important things are done now. It is funny how different it is to look down and she is standing up next to me making dinner. She wants to walk so badly and I see it coming like a freight train. Soon we will be telling stories of her tripping and falling or have scraped knees in pictures. Until then I am happily holding on the my little baby as long and tight as I can.

Also, a fun tidbit, BB is fearless, she doesn’t seem to think that crawling off the bed or couch or trying to climb out of her high chair or over the couch is going to hurt when she falls. We have been very careful to watch her very closely but something that cracks me up is when she wants to go from standing back to sitting. I have seen little kids who gently lower themselves to the ground, not our kid. She lets go and leans back and plops on her bottom. I joke with D that it’s a really good thing we don’t live in the apartments upstairs. She would drive our neighbors bonkers constantly thumping. I will have to try to remember to record it sometime.
