This post makes it official, there are only 6 short days until my baby is a whole year old! I can’t believe it. She is such a goof ball and we love her so stink’n much!! This past week has been a busy week for us but we found time to play with friends and do some things we really enjoy. Also this last week BB got her first tooth and is currently working on more!

Something I find really peculiar and sort of silly is that while BB is really good at fighting sleep she is also really funny when she is tired especially when she is really tired. She practically begs us to let her go to sleep. It’s funny because she will usually find a comfy place and just lay down. She knows when she is tired and she knows that going to bed helps fix that. This was one of those nights that she was counting the minutes until bed time when she could go to sleep. She thought she would try to take R’s bed and just sleep there!

This last week BB has been enjoying:

• The park
• The sunshine
• Apples
• Seeing friends
• Walking everywhere
• Dancing
• Yelling into cups
• Playing with gift cards or credit cards or any kind of card
• Staying in PJ’s all day
• Helping me sort through her clothes by pulling everything out as I put it in.
• Hanging out with D
• Chewing on everything (Darn teeth)
• She’s been a little extra cuddly but it’s hit or miss when or if it will happen

  She likes to climb up the slide, and she can all by her self! She is not as fond of going down and will just sit at the top and pound on the slide and yell down it to me.  She loves to take selfies! Once she clues into what we are doing I usually get this face or one similar.
    Another example of her begging to take a nap. It really cracks me up before her sign that she needed a nap was rubbing her eyes and while that still is a pretty reliable sign she lately has just been laying down like this anywhere she can when it’s time for a nap. Clearly the park wore her out because she just laid under the swings hoping to take a nap!!
    Lately we’ve been having smoothies for breakfast and she always asks for some and so she too has been enjoying smoothie breakfasts!
  Remember that sunshine BB’s been loving so much? Well we took advantage of it and let her run free on Sunday and play at the park with D. She had a blast!! Those two really love each other! Also this is my favorite picture ever, she is such a sas!

She fits perfectly in 9 month cloths now! Woohoo! However, we usually have her in 12 month clothes. Shh don’t tell her! It’s getting colder here and so we are starting to layer up. Hopefully we don’t end up like the kid in a Christmas Story! Also we weighed her and  she is 19 lbs! I didn’t think she was going to weigh this much I was hoping that since she looks so little she would stay and weigh little but nope! She’s getting heavier and while I am all for that and I know it’s healthy my poor arms can’t keep up! I am going to be one strong mama toting her around!!
