This week in photos

This eagle was SO close, I’m talking within 10 feet of me! I had three babies with me and have heard horror stories about eagles picking up really large objects and was extra cautious that I knew where they all were at all times.  It was very eye opening to see how large these birds really are, I only see them from much further away.

Playing at the Skate park has become one of my favorite activities. It’s covered and usually all ours. The kiddos, especially BB love to play there!! Her favorite this is to slide down the ramp and she could spend hours on hours sliding and playing!

The family I work for let us borrow this kiddy tent for our trip, BB loves it!

Just cooking up a storm! I wish I looked this cute cooking!

Reading books with friends.

Reading books at the library.

BB LOVES bubbles! We went on a hike and my friend brought bubbles, BB was her best friend for the remainder of the walk.

Often I take advantage of how awesome BB is. It’s never unappreciated though. We had really limited options when we booked our flights and ended up having a stay over night in Seattle on the way to AZ. This stay was only about 7-8 hours total and was a total of 3 hours of time that we could sleep. BB slept hard those 3 hours and was not very quick to get up that morning at 3:00.However, once she got her feet on the ground and her whereabouts she was great. You could tell she was tired but she was not out of control and fussy or throwing tantrums. She just quietly observed everything and was as sweet as can be.

The entire trip D and I were amazed at how incredible BB is and we couldn’t possibly understand how we got so lucky to have such a sweet, patient, and durable baby. I think we would be in real trouble if we didn’t get the baby we did. We push her past her limits time after time, skipped nap times, fudged bedtimes, and kept her up and playing way too long  and she has yet to stop being her sweet self.

When we got to AZ we let BB take a nap and then when to explore in the sunshine before we went to a D-Backs game. BB found the splash pads and we almost didn’t make it to the game! She LOVED the splash pads!! (I will have to steal those photos from D)

When dad’s hair is long enough we put bows in it!!

It’s vacation mom, we are going to relax today!!

We took BB to Slide rock one day while in AZ and she loved it. There were crazy kids jumping in and she really wanted to! She put her feet in and threw lots of rocks in.

BB’s aunt got her the best sweatshirt!

She loved showing off her stair climbing skills!

Also tried her hand at dressing herself…
